Be yourself, only better

What is PRP?

At a cellular level, the most important factor in ageing skin is the decreasing production of fibroblasts and collagen within your skin. Platelet-rich plasma uses the natural healing properties of your own platelets (taken from a small sample of your blood), to stimulate cellular rejuvenation within your skin and improve the skin’s texture, plumpness and luminosity.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment

Your own natural PRP is a great source of growth factors, cytokines, and other biologically active substances associated with tissue repair and can be used as a safe and effective option to rejuvenate your skin. PRP also increases the secretion of your own hyaluronic acid, makes skin more hydrated, firm and improves its elasticity.

This treatment is great for thinning crepey skin and fine lines. It is especially good for around the eyes, neck, decolletage, full face and hands. A course of treatments is recommended (usually 3-4 appointments), spaced 1 month apart, and results can be maintained with a single repeat treatment every 6-12 months.

PRP is also used in the indication of alopecia and can be injected into the scalp to help stimulate and regenerate hair follicles and improve hair loss.
