Profhilo® is typically recommended as a two-session treatment, spaced around four weeks apart, to achieve optimal skin hydration and firmness. The treatment price may vary depending on the area being treated, such as the face, neck, or hands. Maintenance sessions may be advised every 9 to 12 months to help sustain results. During your consultation, your practitioner will confirm the recommended treatment plan based on your skin concerns and goals.
What to Expect After the Treatment
Profhilo® is a non-surgical injectable treatment, so recovery is usually quick and straightforward. Immediately after the procedure, you may notice small bumps, mild redness, tenderness, or slight swelling at the injection points. These effects are temporary and typically settle within 24 to 48 hours as the product disperses evenly into the skin.
Most people can return to normal daily activities on the same day. Makeup can usually be applied after 24 hours, once the injection sites have settled. You may start to notice improvements in skin hydration and texture within the first few weeks, with continued improvement after the second session as collagen and elastin production increase.
Aftercare Guidelines
- Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours
- Refrain from intense exercise, heat exposure, saunas, or steam rooms for 24–48 hours
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications unless advised by your practitioner
- Keep the skin clean and well moisturised
